Good. Because it doesnt seem that there is space on that motherboard for a sound card and a physx card.

I'm suprised they didn't have an actual sample other than reference :(

I found some pic's at NGOHQ of a supposed Nvidia Nforce5 590 SLI x16 Intel Edition Reference Board, followed by an ECS NF5 570 SLI and even a Jetway NF5 570 SLI Intel Edition mainboards.

Nice find. The PCI-16x slots look too close on the Jetway. Doesn't look like you can use 3 if you have dual slot SLIed cards.

Actually, its not for 3 cards, it is for either SLI or single card mode. (Single card goes in the center slot, SLI goes in the 2 outer slots)

Can you run three single cards?

Not with this board as it will only have Either 1 PCI-E x16(center slot) or two PCI-E x8(outer slots).

But with the NF5 590 x16 SLI Intel edition you could run SLI at Dual x16.;)

I wonder why the SB has the fan while the nb looks like it will just use a standard sink... Isn't it the NB that has the memory controller?

Anyway, the new lanparty's easily have the best layout of all new gen boards, now we just have to see which performs best in SLI the AM2 590 chipset or the Intel 590...

Sweet nice find :) this is my next board with a E6600 ;)

Wow, that looks pretty cool.

The only thing I dislike is the fan. I want my next rig to be whisper-quiet.

BTW, what's the estimated price tag we should be expecting on the new Conroe SLi Boards?

I would say $200 to $250 but that is wishful thinking.

jAkUp

Probably around $200 for the 590 boards.

Probably around $200 for the 590 boards.

I would imagine they'll have different versions of the same family. Didn't the expert initially come out around $250.00 with the sli-D starting around $120?
Then the bank-breaking Venus...

Nice DFI board. I like the placement of the components and I bet it will be an overclockers dream.

Craaaaaaaaap....

What about some more wallet-friendly models?

I imagine you are talking about $200 for a top-of-the-line-it'll-do-your-homework SLI motherboard...
