K, I have a Nvidia 6800 128mb Vanilla card, and was wondering since i get mediocre/poor fps on high texture quality, is it REALLY worth the qulaity drop from Med to High? I get about the same FPS, but 5 higher on Med...only thing is is that it doesn't stutter/chug as much (when i make a 360 turn, it stutters like 4 times on High, and on Med it does it about 1-2)...I posted Screenies too :) (nana2) Specs: P4 2.8ghx w/HT, 1gb RAM, X-Fi, 120gb Western Digi. 7,200RPM.

High@23-29FPS:

If you cant take the stuttering then I would run it on Med, The quality leap isn't huge but it is noticable. Have you tried tweaking your ini settings to remove the stuttering?

I have the same card running 1280x1024 large textures, medium view distances with HDR. surprisingly it doesn't run that much worse than 1024x768 medium/low settings

Maybe i have just become accustom to the lag with all these new games
