I just purchased a 6800gs for my wifes computer since shes a big gamer and her 6600 gt was holding up on TR4.

Anyway It looks like I was able to open the 4 remaining pipes using Rivatuner, and I can run it thru a few games.
3dmarks 05/06 run fine with no artifacts or lockups, however when I try to detect optimal O/C using coolbits it say it failed even with the default clocks.

Is this normal when you unlock the pipes? any help thanks in advance.

According to Unwinder (creator of Rivatuner) if the Nvidia internal clocktest fails, the unlocked pipes are probably damaged or the core requires more voltage.
