I try to be optimistic in these things. Since he won't be able to reproduce there will be less matter to be mixed in the gene pool.

I disagree, personall if I thought he was joking I would have told him to "stfu" and kick him from the channel. The people in question were a bunch of druggies themselves, I have read the irc log, I'll try and find a copy of it and post it here. It's quite sad.
