What exactly are you using? I installed the Pack 4, but I noticed my Start Programs menu is kind of bluish color and not black, like the taskbar, but in your picture everything looks black. So, I was wondering what you had.

I like that desk in your pic. Where did you get it and whats the brand name? how can you adjust the transparency between windows so i can read IE pages without seeing background icons?
Umm, well the desk I got from IKEA about 5 or 6 years ago. But they don't make it anymore...or at least they didn't a few years ago when I was there. I'll check their website to see. The keyboard tray didn't come with it...I made it. And the shelf if just attached to the wall, I made that too. But yeah, the desk it great. The left side (the part not in the pic) has 4 drawers rather than the door with shelfs inside.

EDIT: Nope, I just checked the IKEA website and they don't have anything like it anymore. Before I got mine, they had an even better system where you could piece together all kinds of pieces of desks. Like a 4' straight bit and then a corner then a 8' piece with 4 drawers on the end then another corner and so on...it was a great way to make a custom desk. But they don't do that anymore. Too bad.

Yeah, the guy who makes Vista Transformation Pack updates pretty regularly. I'm thinking at least once every 3 months at least.

I tried this thing and it's cool. Firefox though - when I click on a drop down menu (File/Edit/View/etc..) it blanks out the name of the menu. Wierd. Seems to work OK otherwise though.

There is an option when you're installing VT4 to change the boot screen or to leave it alone. Maybe you unchecked it? And no, there isn't any ways to change the colour of the task bar.

UPDATE: Okay, I changed drivers and my Firefox still has the jitters. I may try the ol' uninstall/reinstall of Firefox.

I found another vista setup called vista customization pack which has the aero theme in it. I mixed these 2 together and thought that might cause problems. Vista transformation pack and customization pack. I looked for shorcuts for customization pack and didn't find any. These programs have no icons to change thngs on them do they. and with the custom pack there was no add remove so i used a service pack 2 reinstall to reset back the things it changed.

I just got vistal Tran pack 4 know but gives me aero now in themes which is good but not as nice as vista bets 2 theme.

I've since uninstalled Firefox all-together and just using IE 7.
