What are folks using for Windows Xp besides the Royle theme. I thought someone got the Aero theme from Vista to work with xp home or pro.
Any idea and i don't want windowblinds, it messes up games like Quake.

WindowsBlinds and the late great KoL Vista theme works very well. It should be noted WindowsBlinds' skinning is faster than the default windows system.

Have you tried the vista transformator 4.0? It's really great, and I can even add a picture of it so that you can see how it looks.

Where can you get?
Browsing Wincustomize.com for it, no luck so far.

There's a thread about it HERE. (http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=70597)
And go HERE (http://tech.cybernetnews.com/2006/05/20/how-to-make-your-xp-machine-look-like-vista-for-free/) to go to the web page about it where you can download it and such.
I installed it the other day and I love it. It's very clean and looks great. Haven't found any problems with it yet either.

As was I. Make sure you fully uninstall windows blinds before you install the transformer pack though. I didn't even think about uninstalling it first and it did some funky things. And it took me like half and hour to fix what I had broken. Kind of a pain in the rear.
I'm using the vista lite 3 transformation pack. Is version 4 a lot better?

I never tried version 3 so I can't tell you...but version 4 is pretty sweet. There is a list of changes that were made somewhere...can't remember where I saw it...I'll have a look...I seem to recall that there were quite a few bugs and problems that were fixed.
EDIT: Found it. Clicky Here (http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/OS-Enhancements/Vista-Transformation-Pack.shtml):D

Hmm, I don't have that problem...mind you I don't have a PC case speaker...
So far the only problem I've found is when viewing a folder in filmstrip mode...it puts the info bar at the bottom and it cuts off the bottom half of all the folders. You can scroll down to see the rest of them but then the tops are gone...Oh well. I don't use filmstrip very often.

I like that desk in your pic. Where did you get it and whats the brand name? how can you adjust the transparency between windows so i can read IE pages without seeing background icons?

If you haven't done it already - go to the Glass2K icon in the system tray and enable Transparency popup. Then you can right-click on any window and edit the transparency settings.
I put this on my test rig and it's pretty slick, I'm debating whether or not to install it on my main rig. I did notice that if you use nVidia's title bar buttons they don't seem to play nice with the close, minimize and maximize buttons.

I know that option. it works good but if i adjust the transperancy to the digits they give me, my wallpaper darkens up. but i can turn off glass effects but i still get the see through with it off. I can deal with it i supose.

Man, I really like this. Awesome!
My only bug with it is with Firefox. My pages jitter real fast up and down. I have to click on the page or refresh it to get it to stop. Other than that, no bugs so far. BTW, I don't have that jitter problem with IE.
Firefox is working fine here - using version 1.5.0.3

Just installed Vista Transf. pack 4.
I love it. I love the light effect underneath the tabs in the taskbar when the cursor is on it.
I disabled the transparacy effect. I find it confusing and irritating.
It feels like I have a brand new computer again.

Same here. I wonder if it has anything to do with the 91.28 drivers? That is what I'm using. You?
