Guys,

I just wondered how a single 7950GX2 would stack up against a current 7900GTX SLi setup (normal run of the mill 2 card SLi)???

Anyone got any thoughts on this?

The gtx will be faster, but more expensive. The gx2 runs at 500core/600mem thats why it'll be a bit slower then 2 gtx's.

In Greece you can get a 7900GX2 for around 550€ and 7900GTX around as much so I'd go for a quad sli system rather than a 7900GTX SLI one.

That would be 569 Euros, not 550, thank you very much, sir. ;)

Anyway, are the rumors about instability true? Is it a hardware problem?
Why are they rushing a new version (7950GX2) in 10 days?

the 7900X2 wasnt released to the public, only to system manufacturers...
