View Full Version : It might seem hypocritical, but does nVidia seem like a good investment right now?

I mean, at $10 a share it's a freaking bargain....IF they can bounce back from the FX....and since as much as I've been poking fun of them I really do think they're gonna bounce back from the FX wouldn't that make this a perfect time to buy some nVidia stock?

I'm serious here BTW and not trying to be a smart-arse, I'm seriously considering if dumping a few grand into nVidia right now might not just be a smart move. :)

I would stick some cash in there but at the moment I have other things that are needed:)

Some people just put entirely too high of an importance on food and such. ;)

it's a smart move, a move which pherphaps a thousand other "smart alecs" would be thinking of right now after a rather precarious release. ( i am not implying anything on what my attitude towards buying NV stock right now is)

Hey it worked once, when the first NV card sunk, may be it will work again or may be it will come back and bite you in the butt.

Have you consulted your stock brocker yet, or is this a mere urge/gut feeling you have?
Hey if you have a grand lying around as a paper weight sure, it's a worthy "gamble" but i dont think you are going to get much of substantial growth like the NV stock had during the x-box era.

I'd rather loose a friend than a stomach! :afro:

Nah, I don't use a broker. I pick the tech stocks and the wife picks the medical ones (she's a pharmacist), it's been a pretty good method. :)

Oh, and if I EVER have a grand lying around as a paperweight I generally turn it into a new computer....but "lying around money" and "investment for kids college money" are two different critters for me. There's never enough of the first, and the other one is always growing...albeit slowly. I like to add something now and again if I see an opportunity that looks good, and a couple of grand can't hurt. :)
