I think this is the same as the VF900, but just has an LED... it seems impossible to find however. I am trying to get one for my PPU :D

Frickin' sweet! I was hoping they would make one, but not after I ordered a VF900. Woohoo! I get to order one the middle of next week or when I'm able to find one to order. This will look great with my other 7 blue led fans. :D

Those are very easy to get from Canadian suppliers.

In fact I have the non led version on the video card in one of my home pc's.

Or maybe he just like to play safe and lower the temps. Or maybe he just likes to overclock his gfx cards. Maybe. Bah.

where talking about a PPU here, i dont think theres a lot of overclocking potential, even if you could over clock it which i dont think you can at the moment, and i dont think it runs very hot... He probobly just wants to make it look like he has 5 graphics cards :p

Well it does get pretty hot, it uses about 40w. But really I want it because it will keep it cooler, and it looks badass :D

anyone got a review showing how much it can lower the temps on a video card? i wonder if it would be worth it for 7800gts

Don't bother. It doesnt fit right :( And now my card is dead :( lol The VF700 may fit, but I really don't want to take my chances anymore.

Well, the VF900 non-LED version dropped my temps on my 7900GT by 14'. I went from 56' C idle to 42' C idle, with load temps now at only about 62' C, where before they were in the high 70's.

It killed your Physx card? Sweet. :(

Yea I know, I think it wasn't making good contact with the core, since it only had 2 mounting holes. And now it is dead :(

Damn that sucks. Thanks for taking one for the team though JakUp. Now for everyone who has/gets a physics card, we know not to waste our money on this.

Oh.... dead hardware sucks big time.. :(

I've never killed any components with my tampering so far.. but I was suprised that my Viper 2 and Voodoo5 survived the cooling adventures I put them through.. :)

Yea it shouldn't be a problem... I think the VF700 may fit... but I dunno.

A physx card being dead isn't so bad. It only works with 1 and a half games anyways. haha

It shows up in Device manager correctly, but no games, or the Ageia drivers detect it anymore. I tried it on my secondary rig, and I'm getting the same thing so its dead for sure :(
