I have an nvidia geforce4 mx graphics card on my computer. Is it T & L capable and if not, what is the card I need? My motherboard can handle up to agp 8x and 128mb memory. Thanks! ks_tornado39

Wow I havent heard about T&L since the old Geforce 256 days. Well, I guess it came up when BF1942 came out and required a T&L capable card in 2002, but since then its just one of those things no one talks about because everything has it.
Yea, pretty much all cards have T&L nowadays, however, the Geforce4MX does not have DX8 shaders :(
wow I thawt I was the only person with something that old.
not for much longer though:D

Well, I want to upgrade my graphics card, and my motherboard can handle up to 8x agp and 128 memory, so what is the nvidia graphics card I need? I got on the site and got totally confused.

I'd say wait just a bit longer, then grab the 7600GT when it is released. That would be light years faster than your MX440.
Just curious, what CPU are you running and how much ram? You say the mobo can only handle 128Mb of ram yet it supports AGP 8x? That does seem a bit odd.

I think he talks about the aperture size.
The 7600GT would be a killer!
