the fps really wouldn't change much if any with 2 gigs, some jitters would be gone, but 512mb on the video card removes many stutters in BF2 compared to a 256mb + 1gig setup

I guess if you have the money to spend it would be alright ,but I do not see that it is that big of a improvement over a 7900GTX SLI system.and if you have a 7900GTX SLI system already then I would say just stay with that and wait for the next generation of cards to come out.

Thanks for the link. It's a nice review, they test it on 2560x1600 too. But these results aren't good enough to make me buy two of them. Maybe four G80, we'll see...

Many of the review sites are throwing around 2 possible dates for official support, either mid June (I hope) or the end of summer. I'm still sketchy on the entire thing but I mine as well step-up and get quad now while it's free.
