Enjoy!
The links in the first post are now live, and I've begun the massive 4GB download on my puny 256k cable line. Looks like it's going to be a few days until I'm done.
Sweet.
Which version to dl :(
x64 or x32?
Rip, if you read this, what do you have?
Thanks! I guess I'll start my download now.
Edit: Hmm, didn't think of that. I started the 32-bit one but maybe I should be going for the 64-bit one.

oh boy im going to download it asap, if you want stability, theres nothing better than microsoft beta code!!!
I would go with x32, x64 really doesn't give you such a great boost since most apps aren't written for 64bit support anyways. Also when a 64bit os runs 32bit code it is actually slower, and the fact that there are numerous issues with the 64bit version right now.
I'm dling the 64-bit version for the heck of it.
Hopefully it will be better than the xp-64 build :D
If it conks out, I'll just go with the 32-bit version. It's only bout a 1-2hr dl afterall.
850 kbps goodness

And, just as an addendum, get your product licence here:
https://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience/scripts/vista.aspx?lcid=2075&Action=download&Region=EMEA&CountryCode=CDN
I'm downloading the x64. I hope it'll work.
I get a sorry, unable to process your request when trying that link (license). Edit: Do you have to have it installed before doing that?
No, you're right, its the same error.
I'll worry bout it after I finish dl'ing.
Currently our admin is working on removing vb 3.6 errors from our forums, gotta love growing pains lol. Thats my current entertainment.

The registration link should work, but, if not, try this:
1. Go to here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/getready/preview.mspx
2. Scroll down to the part where you can select your download location.
3. Select and click okay. It'll probably ask you to sign into Passport.
4. You'll get the CD key!

I think their servers are overloaded. I've been stuck at 62% for a while now and get an error when trying to connect.
If you want more speed find any Vista Beta 2 torrent since this is the exact same build (5384.4) . Just get the product key from MS's website so you can activate.

Man, I really want to try this. But my system is configured exactly the way I want right now and it's been running so perfectly smooth I'd hate to mess it up.

gotta love 8kb per second. I'm sure MS servers are getting hammered. Anyone have a legit link to a torrent of this?

Is there ANY way I can get nVidia drivers working properly under Beta 2? All XP drivers give a nv_mini.sys BSOD (page_fault_in_nonpaged_area). The 88.61 Vista driver has a shocking control panel with hardly any options, the options it does have either bring up errors or do not apply.
The only drivers that do not give BSOD are 82.xx however they do not even support my 7900gt.
ATI have great Vista drivers with a stable Catalyst Control Panel, nVidia has an unstable almost useless CP.
Any thoughts?
