What colour slots do you put your memory in? My system has been pretty unstable for 6 months now with a pfn list corrupt blue screen. Its driving me nuts.

Cheers. I had mine in the yellow ones and have now swapped them over. I will be running memtest now to see if it is faulty memory which I hope it is.

Odd that because they worked in the yellow slots but it wasnt very stable. Havent run mem test yet bi=ut I will do that when I can be bothered.

It actually depends on what type of memory chips you have.

With some of the nice bioses out there you can get 3 different types.

Mostly for overclockers but:

If your memory uses BH-5 type modules put it in orange.

Samsung modules put it in yellow.

Though if you don't overclock it doesn't matter, hell I got all 4 filled :)

Yeah I can run my ram in either colour....but only the orange ones are stable.

Like Banko pointed out, it depends on what modules your ram uses. There is a thread over at dfi-street.com about this.
