View Full Version : Monitor cloning / mirroring ?
I have a NVidia GeForce 3 Video card with a S-Video output in which I have that running to my T.V. My problem is that I cannot get it to clone the monitor. (also known as mirroring) I can switch back and forth but, I want to be able to have my family and/or friends watch the tv while I play games etc. I have Windows XP Professional.
Thank You,
Jonathan
You mean watching TV from cable box while you have S-video hooked up ?
the geforce3 doesn't support nview only the geforce2mx, 4 and 4mx
So you can use either the tv or the monitor but not both at the same time.
Unless you use tvtool, this way you can use the pc monitor and tv simultaneously, but the monitor display looks squashed and dim.
Ok I read you post a couple of times to understand what you meant. You want to be able to play your games on your monitor, while people can watch you play via the tv? TV-Tool lets you do this, but you cannot use two different resolutions at the sametime, also the refresh rate will be forced down to that of the tv.
At first I thought he meant like playing games and watching divx or something :o
ty for your response though volt!
TV-Tool ? what is it and where do I get it ?
