If you would of told me my xbox 360 would die today, I would laugh at you so hard. I have never had any hickups at all; no freezes, no red lights, nothing.... Then today, I decide to play some Table Tennis and my 360 freezes. After a couple of reboots, the freezes started getting sooner and sooner, eventually couple seconds after turning it on, during the 360 logo.

Well it's pretty much dead, I tried everything and MS is sending me a box. Cool thing I found out from support guy, I can send my 360 in with no faceplate (since I have a custom one and it'll never come back if I send it in).... I'm kinda sad, but at least I got the 2 year warranty... might as well use it, right?

P.S. I'm thinking of getting the Nyko Intercooler.

Nyko Intercooler FTW! Runs great and exhuasts alot of the heat out of mine system. Good luck with that exchange :)

Silly question, did you install the firmware update released a few days ago?

Yeah, I have played on Tuesday when it was installed with no problems. Today was the second time playing after I updated. It's the only real thing that was diferent that "might" of caused it although I somehow doubt it.

I'm wondering if theres a chance i might get a newer version with new dvd-drives

Hey toxik I actually saw your 360 jumping on and off Xbox Live every five minutes yesterday. I was wondering what was going on. I guess now I know. :( Welcome to the club! :thumbdwn:

I have a question for you guys that already got thier 360s back. Did you all have 3 red lights? Mine doesn't have red lights, it just freezes, sometimes with graphical artifacts on the screen. Thing is, it also freezes during dashboard and during movie playback in Media Center.

From what I read, you're not supposed to send in your power brick, but couldn't there be a chance that it's the problem. I mean I don't even think my 360 has enough time to heat up, and i'm worried if it might be the power brick.
