I'm pretty amazed that a gamecube game could look this good. Just goes to show you that a big part of graphics are about the skill of the developement team. If they can make gamecube Zelda look like this, imagine how Wii Zelda will look.

Wow, Those are some pretty poor screenshots. Not judging the game, just the quality of the shots.

Awesome shots. Looks like this game is going to be a winner.

The game does look incredible but I have to agree with Magus... the quality of the screen shots are bad on IGN. They look more like camera pics then actual screen grabs. Some shots are extremely blurry.

Just curious, how do you know those are game cube pics?
It is listed as "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii version) (Wii)"

The cube and Wii version are graphically equivilent. The Wii version runs it in 480p widescreen, but the actual polycounts, models, textures, etc are the same.

Hey Fanboy, Learn to read. I wasn't judging the game at all. I can't wait for its release. Its going to brea great. I was judging the low quality of the shots... some look like they belong on the N64 due to the amount of blurriness on them. Specifically these two...

hah, yeah those screens are pretty poor quality.

Mind you, even if the game visually looked like ****, I'd still get it because I know the gameplay of the Zelda's will never disappoint me.

I'll also be getting Phantom hour glass :)

LOL yeah, the magic photographer who gets every other game to stand still must have been sick that day.

Yes because in the second shot hes moving so fast! As for the first, look at the sky... no motionblur there... so I guess Link is only moving very fast in the same spot.

I think it's some kind of post filter ; probably looks great when playing it.

Visual style looks great, although I seem they picked up a bit of Capcom's
Okami.

I have never played Zelda, so I can't really say nothing about the game. I have a friend who played the one on the SNES (don't remember the name), and he did say it was a blast.

I, however, have no intention playing a green little leprecon. A change of cloths will do the game wonders, Im sure.

The pics look good. Nice graphics. I'm sure the fans won't care though, and all the best to them for that :)

Gamespot has far superior pictures. http://www.gamespot.com/gamecube/action/thelegendofzelda/screenindex.html

Not surprisingly good to me, but quite adequate in graphics department.
Just what I'd expect from the Cube.

Oh , see they went and spent the extra money for the photographer that would make everyone stand still.
We wouldnt want any more motion blur

Looks pretty nice to me and the new videos on IGN do it more justice.

Gameplay is king. That level of graphics is more than enough to make the game an engaging experience. I would have to play it first tho to be sure. A friend of mine has a gamecube and we tried playing need for speed on it my eyes bled.

Worst.

Graphics.

Ever.

I'm kinda bugged at Nintendo because I know many of the games thay produce for the Wii will be fun, but I just wish they were of the same graphical fidelity as 360/ps3 games...Oh well.

Fun comes at a price, and that is the Wii's biggest selling point. You can have just as much fun (if not more) for 1/2 the price.

In case your all wondering, there are no new screens, it's just new art, look at the dates.
