Is this drive good? Is there something better? I'm not running raid or anything.. Just wondering on input from those who know, or have this drive. I currently have a 200GB and like it's low noise and quick access. Hoping this WD is just as good if not better. My board supports SATA3 and I currently have a SATA1 drive in there..

WD3200JD is the one I have. One of the nicest drives I've had in 20+ years of computing. :)

I have a couple WD2500KS's and they're great, I think the 320GB version is a bit faster though.

I own two and couldn't live without them. Quiet, cool, and fast.

SATA3?

SATA 300 (which is commonly and incorrectly referred to as SATAII)

It's an excellent drive and one of the most reliable HDDs on the market today.

I ONLY use Western Digital drives.

You shouldn't worry about getting one.
