Anyone having any luck with these on Source based games with the public Vista beta? Getting terrible performance and shader bugs on my 7800GT.

I also have a 7800GT with the 64 bit version of vista. I was able to get DOD to work on the original drivers provided but not with nvidias newest. On the other hand I was getting 30fps constant whereas before it was like 130
Do you have a problem when you get out of sleep mode of your computer freezing up for a minute or two?

Plays great for me.. framerate wise. Graphically, its a corrupted 3D diasaster.

Same here, and Far Cry also has fubar'ed water textures...everything else seems OK.
Doom3 goes to a black screen after loading a level but the game is running.
Quake3 you can't adjust gamma and it's WAY too dark....
Quake1 (GLQuake) plays fine.
Quake4 wants a cd key, I can't find my copy....arrrghhhhh

If anyone cares, Halo PC and CE run flawless in vista. Vista links you to a page on bungie's site with a small file to make the game work, which I though was cool.

Are any of you able to get a functioning control panel with the ability to change colour settings etc and everything works with 88.61? With mine there are only two options, 3D Settings and Display, and neither have hardly anything in them. For example I can only change to 2x AF and cant even change AA at all - i get an error about nvgames.dll.
Is there any way to revert back to the classic control panel??? Because this one is useless!! (This is with 7900GT 512mb) I cant find an option anywhere to change to the classic like u can in the XP drivers.
Also ALL recent XP drivers give me a BSOD whenever trying to run anything with D3D - the error is PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA from the file nv_mini.sys.
Any suggestions?

Nah, the Vista CP has a very rush-job feel to it.

When I had an X1800 it always CTD. Even after using the app compatibility function.
Haven't tried it since I got a GX2.
