SLi crashs

ok I thought i had my system running fine until i popped in FEAR...which gives me anomolies up the wazzu...if i turn OFF SLI i get much better frame rates with no crashs..why could this be? I run teo 7900 gtx with problems..I RAN 2 7800 with NO problems so i DONT think its the PSU right? and even if i turn off SLI its still drawing power or no?

What PSU? please post specs of your system

Nvidia recommends at least 30A on the 12V rail and 550W for 7900 gtx's in sli
