hi guys, i'm new... anyway, the stats for my PC are as follows:

2.4 ghz processor
1 GB Ram
Nvidia gforce fx 5700 LE
abit vt7 motherboard
2 120 GB hard drives (one SATA, one IDE)
samsung dvd-rw
ocz modstream 450w psu

that should be all that matters. anyway, i bought oblivion, hoping it would work decently on my computer. instead, i got horrible textures, piss poor framerates, and choppy animations. if anyone knows how i can optimize my settings to get oblivion to run, i would be HIGHLY appreciative :D

p.s. and yes, i am getting a new processor, motherboard, and video card, i know mine aren't the best

For your systems specs you cant expect much, Just be happy you can run the game even at its lowest possible setting.

Try tweaking the ini abit.
