OMFG! This guy is amazing. He basically controlled the fourth quarter!

Josh Howard made a bonehead timeout call, lol.

3-2 MIAMI HEAT!

Hopefully we can pull one out in Dallas.:D

Awesome! I am from Texas, about an hour out of Dallas but I CANNOT STAND THE MAVS!

My brother is going to explode though because he loves the mavs more than anything and EVERY year he says "This is the year"... and every year I love rubbing it in his face when it doesn't happen ;). But he will be fine... he is convinced there is a huge conspiracy against the mavs anyway :\.

/waits for an idiot that dresses up in green tights that has a name that rhymes with "elda_fan" to make a post of how his girlfriend Steve Nash is a better player than D-Wade

I just want to see the Heat win to spite Kobe Bryant.

I just want Heat to win to spite Jerry Stackhouse.

I even have money riding on the Mavs to win the series, but piss poor sportsmanship from their team is leading me to want the Heat to win.

Yea ya boy D.Wade was ballin' last night. Shaq shoulda did that post game interview on his knees though cause I know his neck was hurtin' talkin' to that short reporter, heh.

so "elda_fan", is Nash better than D-Wade now? Still think Nash deserves MVP over Lebron or Wade? Maybe if D-Wade had golden locks for hair you would like him a little bit more. ;)

I don't appreciate Dirk breaking all of my heat's equipment.:p

I wonder if the person he kicked the ball to got to keep it. The NBA are pretty stingy with wanting the ball back sometimes, hopefully some lucky bastard went home with it.

Yeah, Dwyane (watch that spelling…it’s not the normal way) is the biggest reason I’m proud to go to Marquette. I miss going out to parties and seeing him and Travis Diener. :( Travis and I had a couple of classes together and were acquaintances, so whenever we were out and I would run into him, he’d get whoever it was hosting the party to hook me up with a cup or get me into a party without having to pay. :D

wtf is an "elda"?

And yes, Nash is better than dw, and he deserved the MVP. Maybe Nash wouldn't win a 1 on 1, but he does more for his team.

The name "Diener" will be forever etched in the minds of us L'Ville fans, we've had some good rivalries over the years :D

I have to say, as much as I hate Louisville, you guys are probably my favorite of our biggest rivals. The games were ALWAYS amazing. No matter how crappy we played before that match-up, the Louisville/MU games were always intense and close.

Such great basketball. :D

Steve Nash, PPG. 18.8. RPG. 4.2. APG. 10.5.
Dwyane Wade, PPG. 27.2. RPG. 5.7. APG. 6.7
LeBron James, PPG. 31.4 RPG. 7.0. APG. 6.6

yes, you are right. Those 3-4 assists he has definitely helps the team more than Lebron having almost double the points and rebounds. Or the fact that D-Wade is CARRYING the Heat to possibly win the championship.

I give up. You are right. I keep forgetting that "Nash Aura" is what is winning the Suns the championship right now. Its not his stats, its just his aura of being on the court. I mean, why does the NBA keep stats anyway? The "Nash Aura" that is causing the Suns to go so far right now is all we need.

Have you every played basketball on a team in your life? Not YMCA or community center ball, but on a real team? (highschool or better). 10 assists is a BIG difference from 6. When you get the entire team involved to that extent, it creats momentum, which is a very real concept in basketball. Oh but I forgot. Littlewoody plays with himself at the Y, so he is a basketball eXpert.

I played High School ball. Granted it was 4 years ago since I last played on organized team, but I would rather have someone on my team that I know I can count on to score as opposed to some guy who is too afraid to shoot the ball. If I was composing a team and I had a choice between D-Wade, Lebron, and Nash, I have to be honest it would be a VERY tough choice. Do I want D-Wade or Lebron?

BTW, Y ball rocks. I actually miss it more than high school ball. :D

yeah nash is real afraid to shoot the ball.

and I enjoy Y ball, but it was nothing compared to the glory days in high school. Ahhh, miss those days. Everyone in the school looked up to me for no decent reason other than I was on the team.

Soccer = more fun than basketball to play. I REALLY miss playing soccer in high school. I have to admit, I was much better at it than basketball. I'm not going to say I was the best on my basketball team because I wasn't. Far from it. However in soccer, I was first team all district 3 years in a row. Its been 4 years since I've played that though. I wonder if I can even dribble the ball anymore(in Soccer or Basketball) :D

Are you guys seriously trying to out-brag one another at how good you were at high school sports?

News flash: NO ONE CARES ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL.

hah :D

absolutely not. I just had fun in my sports. Thats all. I even stated I wasn't one of the top players on my basketball team. So definitely not bragging here. ;)

P.S. I know what you mean about people seeing high school years as their "glory" years. My life is 100x better now than when it was in high school(lets just say i got in trouble alot). I do miss playing sports, but thats as far as it goes.

Regardless of who carries his team to the title this post-season, whether it be Wade or Nowitzki, they'll have one thing that Nash won't. A ring.

And Wade will win the MVP of the finals :smoking: You know, the MVP when it COUNTS :nanahump:

Coz not only does he make his team better, he actually carries the team against the best opposition out there.

Wrt sports in high-school, I swam and played volley-ball, till all the other blokes out-grew me. Couldn't do as well blocking v/s 6 and a half footers

absolutely. Nash does make his team "better", but there is no way a person could say with a straight face that having D-wade or Lebron on the team instead of Nash would be a bad decision. I would add Dirk to this list, but Dirk is SERIOUSLY choking as of late.
