I bought a new PC that came with a Geforce 6200 le 256 card preisntalled. The driver is about a year old (84.21)
When i try to update the driver to the latest from nvidia the memery is reduced to 128. I also get the same problem with the latest beta driver.
I understand that this card uses turbocache so the actual mem on the card is probably well below 256, but as the current driver supports 256 (i assume pulling it from sys memory, if i understand turbocache correctly) then i want it to use 256 as with the existing older driver.
I really need to update the driver as it made a difference all round, but i assume that the reduced mem would hit me on more demanding games.
Anyone seen this before ? or any suggestions ?
