And what about all the 7900GT errors? What do i need to look for there?

i would say a 7900gt. its probably equal to the two 7600gt i believe, depending on clocks. and, it will be much more future proof because then you can just buy another 7900gt. just my two cents

good luck :)

edit: and with the errors, i here a lot of them are common with the GTX. Most people that ive seen are having zero problems with their GT's.

My 6800gt was an inno 3d. Never had any problems but I only had it for 6 months. You might as well go ahead and buy one.

theres ALOT of people with problems with their GTs. Im already on my 3rd RMA for a 7900gt and its only the vanilla version (2nd and 3rd card were never overclocked). Just check out the eVGA forums and u'll see the majority of the people there who are having problems with the 7900 series have GTs.

How good do they overclock? The 7900 GT's.

depends on which one u get. THe signature series from eVGA could overclock to gtx speeds and beyond since it runs at higher voltage. But i would say typical GTs overclock to 550-570 on the core and up to 800 (1600) on the memory. As always, each card has its own limits.

Thx :) I will use my Zalman on the card. ;)
