Right i have a little worry about me nForce2 mobo.

(I'm not going to flame calling it **** either)

I'm using the Abit NF7-S and everyonce in a while i get a BSOD error.

One of my mates have the EPOX 8RDA+ and he gets BSOD's alot more often than I.

or systems are more or less identical he just has an AthlonXP 2600+

right then we seem to have descovered that the source of the problem might be caused by the soundcard or ethernet drivers.

I was wondering if anyone else has had any BSOD errors and if they suspect the same as us?

Note: We are both using the latest BIOS's and don't overclock

Epox-8RDA+. I Had ALOT of trouble trying to get my Leadtek TV Tuner to work with my Audigy/Audigy2 cards. Everytime i tried recording the system would almost completly freeze then give me a Blue Screen.

Since i have gone back to the onboard nForce Audio its been smooth sailing. Not one problem.

What kind of memory are you using? What timming?

i'm using 266MHz DDR no overclocking using Optimal ram setting so what ever the motherboard detects it as.

CAS rate is 2.5
