I just order this case last night from newegg. It is my first newegg purchase and I must say, so far I am very impressed. I went back to check the the status about an hour after I had ordered it and it was already on step 5 meaning it was being shipped. They say they don't ship or do anything on weekends so i'm sure it didn't ship until today but still, I was totally impressed. It's like they have guys just sitting around on computers just waiting for orders.

As far as the actual case I have heard mixed reviews. I heard minor things about the hard drive holds not aligning properly and a few other small things. Every complaint was minor though, and I am willing to work around it. The case looks awesome and it supposedly moves a lot of air. What do you guys think?

that is a HUGE fan!!! :O

The front fan is 140mm and the side fan is 250mm. It also has the option in the back for a pair of 80mm fans or one 120mm fan. Overall, the cooling should be nice(r) (than my current case).

how cool would it be if that side fan was a sub woofer instead :D

if the exhaust is small then its pointless...

That review that I posted did some test on the air system and it went very well. Check out the link.

Looks great. Be sure to keep up updated after you move everything to the new case, especially on the cooling aspect.

Ugly as hell...

True, very true! :barf:

What apsects of it make this case ugly in, is it the massive fan or other details? Just curious.

That would be pretty badass if that was, indeed, a subwoofer. Maybe I can mod the hell out of this case and add that idea in there...haha.

I don't know but I think a big speaker magnet would not be too good inside the computer.

The case looks like some kid with no sense of style decided to "bling bling" it up the @$$. That case has "unprofessional" and "big time nerd" written all over it. Plus it's not pratical becasue you have to open a freakin hinge to access your DVD drive.

If you want a real case that looks good and has quality craftsmanship, look no further:

Anyway... I'm mostly interested in how it cools Bearclaw and how noisy those fans are. If you wouldn't mind posting that type of info once you get it, I'd appreciate it. I'm wondering how effective that huge fan would be on a quad-sli setup but as someone already mentioned, the exhaust part of the equation looks like it could be a problem.

i would never pay over $150 for a case no matter how high quality it is. i could almost pick up another 7900 for that price. my antec p-160wf is all i need. sure it could look mayeb a tad better, but its got al ot of features and its built great

The case I got was 100 unless you are talking about Zelda_Fan's case.
When I get everything up in running I will report on the sound of the fan's the cooling, etc. It is suppose to arrive thursday.

Wow with all these wonderfully unique remarks I just might not be needed around here anymore to make fun of Zelda_fan. I mean that was Oscar worthy SLippe!

The case arrived today and I will probably be transfering everything over tomorrow. When it is up and running I will run some tests and see how it is then write and unofficial review on it.

Sorry I must say the Lian-Li V COOL PC-V1000 looks ugly to me.
It shows luckily not all of us like same style.

The AeroCool ExtremEngine 3T is pretty good looking case with large fans, except I don't like cases with front door (usually cheap plastic), hate to open the door every time the DVD/CD disk is used, off course I like my case much better. :)
