Evga 7900GTX

Factory OC'd: 650/1600

Only used about 2 weeks because:

Originally bought evga7900GTX (peeled a sticker off of it unaware that it was the serial # sticker)

Newegg said they would accept it as RMA. So I sent it back and bought the xfx 7950XXX.

Newegg received the 7900gtx and said we won't take it back cause I peeled the sticker off.

However, the sticker with the serial # that came on the box is still there and in-tact. Evga said I could step it up to another 7950, but I'd rather just get some money back.

$425.00 U.S. gets it.

You need to post some kind of feedback like Heatware and/or eBay. Also, pictures wouldn't hurt.

What kind of feedback are you talking about? It's an evga 7900gtx. There are lots of reviews on the web about it.

heatware and ebay feedback. Mainly for us to know that you aren't a crook. Do you have any? How about pictures of the back of the card?

Cause I have the xfx XXX edition and I love it. It is OC'd right out of the box and it blazes. Also my case TT Shark at the tornados I have in it blowing across the GPU keeps the GPU below 55 at all times. I can even overclock it more.

My 7950 seems to score a little better than some of the other ones I have seen too.

Anyways, I really like the one I have and I feel that if it's not broke dont fix it.

You cant benefit the "step-up" program anymore because it is consider OEM right now.

I called them up and the rep told me I could. I don't think that anyone who buys this from me can though.

Quite honestly, I don't know much about Quad-SLI except that it's not supported and many games have problems with it and I don't want to spend $200 more to step it up when I'm really just trying to recover the $$ for my stupidty of removing that dumb sticker.

P.S you should RMA it back to evga so you get a new one then sell it as a new one not open they sent you a brand new one with a new box

They gave me a few options but removing the sticker from the card voids warantee, thus the RMA option. THey said I could step-up, a couple other things which i can't remember or sell the card.

I guess I could carefully take the sticker off the box and put it on the card, then RMA it and say that I no longer have the box.

I figured I'd just sell it though.

that works on the xbox360's foil sticker.. :P

Premium broke, bought a core, switched the internals, and the chromeish drive thingy, replaced sticker.. and bang. returned the core. Who needs to wait for MS to fix it :P
