After repeatedly finding myself seeing typos and poor grammar in my posts after hitting the submit button, I've come to the conclusion that we really need sum sort of speeling and gramma chekr on theez fouremz. :p

Edit: Oh yeah, and some sort of syntax checker for the ubb code would be cool too. :D

(This isn't meant to be feedback, so please don't move it. It's more of a commentary on my poor skillz at reviewing what I type before I click..)

Why don't you just type it in MS Word, and using the spell checker there

for a syntax checker... hmm.. not sure

I'm compulsive. I have to go back and edit my posts whenever I notice a mistake. That's why almost 100% of my posts say "this message was edited ... "

actually i really get annoyed by people who type in run on sentences or dont capitalize or use apostrophes or anything like that i can see it more if english isnt your first language but theres no excuse for native speakers to type here like they failed fifth grade english

Everybody makes mistakes/typos and that's all good, but there are some people who don't look like they even try to look like they know how to write.

IT ANNOYS ME EVEN MORE THE PEOPLE WHO FORGET TO TURN OFF THEIR CAPS LOCK AND THINK THAT IF THEY TYPE LIKE THIS THEY'LL GET AN ANSWER TO THEIR QUESTION FASTER.

You've done a great job. I haven't had to edit any of your posts. I make the most errors of all.:D

When people point out that I've misspelled something ( which is every other word ), I just blame it on keeping it real!

People like me, being english not the main language, use to write much better and you, americans, englishmen and australians!! :p ;) :D

Maybe not the sentence, the structure of the expressions, but we do use to take special care of the words...
I'd never write teh, then instead of than, and that kind of stuff. :) :afro:

I'm with ALobpreis here. Spanish is my main language and I usually put a good effort in making my sentences clear. I think native english-speakers do it bad intentionally LOL! And now that we're talking about it, don't you think Internet is making most languages to decay? Not only English language, I mean. Here in Spain for instance, people when connected to Internet usually talk and write as bad as we do to English language...

BTW: I hate grammar and syntax as much as you do.

AL and eL: The difference here is you guys (and actually a lot of non-native English speakers) put forth a conscious effort to make your posts easy to understand. It's a heck of a lot easier to understand you and to take you seriously when you have that attitude and that's something I certainly appreciate. :)
