It's been quite a while that I haven't attended a music concert, mainly due to the severe lack of band visiting Montreal. Anyways I attended one of Canada's best rock group's concert on Wednesday. Our Lady Peace really put out a pretty good concert and were on-stage for almost 2 hours. I think this picture captured the moment pretty well:

Any of you guys attended some great conceerts recently?

There is only one group I want to go see live at the moment, Korn
I missed out on the england tour due to no cash and I'm hoping like hell they come over again this year so I can go:cool:

I haven't been to a concert in a while... I saw Tool back in September and since then I've only seen local bands.
My last concerts were:
Lynyrd Skynyrd last year (frend won radio concert but couldn't go) in Canada... Good times...
Deftones/Snapcase/Quicksand Nov. 1998
THE FIRST Family Values Show, Rochester NY, Aug. 1998...
KoRn, Limp Bizkit (when they were cool), Ice Cube, Orgy, and Rammstein...
Now THAT was fun...

Is Limp Bizkit going to keep trolling music stores in the mall to find their "next great guitarist" or are they actually using someone up to the level?
That's really a cause for inspection when their ex-guitarist puts out an album NO ONE bought, and still won't talk when the singer puts out a national press release pleading for him to come back to LB.
That shows you how tired the rap rock formula is these days.
In fact..most of the Nu-Metal ****heads can keep the lid on the can sealed, for all i care.
Last concert i went to that made me go, "whoa" is a tie between
Slayer/Clutch and Soulfly/Neurosis.
I seriously thought the ceiling was coming down at one point during the Neurosis set.
I havent been to many concerts. REM monster tour Melbourne AUST, Pantera Melobourne AUST and Pantera London ENGLAND.
I would have loved to have seen, Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Cream, Queen and many others, but due to my age....:(

Best bands were Incubus..Hoobastank..System of a Down..Korn.
The best show was korn and Im not a die hard fan..I like selective songs on their albums but they ripped the show to peices..
Especially when they played One by Metallica..

Went to go see NIN at anahiem, perfect circle opened for them. i believe it was called the fragility 2.0 tour.
before that i went to see marilyn manson, it was the last show he put on at the last minute in L.A. for his DVD.
Before that i went to see TOOL at the santa barbara bowl in CA.
Before that it was lords of acid at a really small club; she licked my head :)

Marilyn Manson 4 times over the last few years.
Tool, SlipKnot, MuDvAyNe, The Tea Party 2 times (Kick ass), Stabbing Westward 2 times, and many more. :nana:
I just got back from the Joe Satriani concert in Albuquerque, NM. I considered Joe my favorite guitarist of all times. The guy is jut phenomenal with the axe. If you ever get a chance to see him, I highly, highly recommend it.

The last concert I saw , was when Tool came into town. One of my favorite bands ... but I was left a bit bitter and angry at the end due to the sound setup. It was soo loud, that I couldn't even understand the lerics on songs that I've listend to at least three times a day, for years!
I thought it was just me , since I haven't been to a concert up untill that point for a long time, but even my friends who are avid concert go'ers said the same thing. I had trouble hearing for the next few days.
I still love Tool ... but didn't enjoy their concert too much because of it.

Last show I saw was The Bellrays, The Excessories and Third Grade Teacher performing at Spaceland. It was a BLAST!
My latest concert was Tool in Huntington, WV.
BLeh coulda done without Tomahawk opening for em (good thing the guitarist's amp died)
Aside from the crowd being such a pain in the backside the show left a lasting impression on me unlike any other. Didn't get to meet the band, though. (I usually do...) They had to rush out cuz one of their buds died in a bike accident.
What, you not like Mike Patton's creativity?
Mr. Bungle?
:D
nono Mike Patton was actually pretty kewl
"Hey sweetheart can I ask ya something? ya ever suck a yankee ****?" hehe.
I just didn't care for their style of music.
