Im a newb when it comes to overclocking i know how to do it and everything but i need somehelp with doing it right. I have an nvidia geforce 6800 agp 128mb and for the core its 325mhz and for the memory its 700mhz. I also wanna overclock my processor and its an AMD Athlon 64 3700+@ 2.40 ghz. Thanks for any reply.

For the card you can use coolbits... its pretty straight forward, just increase the clock 5mhz until you get a stable clock.

As for CPU, it gets a little more complicated because it depends largely on the system memory you have.

download this .reg file and run it to enable coolbits. that will allow you to adjust clocks from the nvidia control panel.

about your athlon64, OC'ing that is a much more delicate process.

Thanks alot for the reply guys appreciate it. I use rivatuner to tweak and overclock my video card thats good right? I still download coolbits though. Should i just use games to test to see if my overclock is stable? Thanks again for reply.
