hi there,
I got some problems with my Geforce 6610xl (128mb).
Since a couple months; my card just cant shut up, it makes nonstop cooling sounds and the card temperature is quite high(65Celsius). My FPS in new games (css etc) drops. Normal it was like 25 fps, now it doesn't get higher then 10fps. I looked if there wasn't any dust on the card, there was a bit tho but i whiped it off and the performance of the card is still very low.
Please help me,
Thanks in advance

Get a new card. Also, there is no need to bump the thread 2 days later.

What drivers are you using? Have you tried swapping the card to another PC? How about the cooling of your PC, Is it removing hot air within your case properly?
Have you tried removing all traces of the card and reinstalling from the start?
Could you also post the brand and model of the card... I personally never heard of such a card.

Its Nvidia, thats all i know, oh and that its really bad.
My friend has one which came with his computer (Some Advent piece of junk) and he rarely gets fps above 30!

Yeah, It's a budget card... who cares what the performance is, he wants it to work like it use to.

If you didnt care about graphics cards performance, you wouldnt have a 7800GTX.
