Patch Info

-Extended graphic cards support: GeForce 3/4 and Radeon 8500-9200 as well as all previously supported cards.
-Language support: Now supports several different languages. A big Thank You to the community for the translations.
-Extended options: All effects can now be set in-game, allowing users to tweak them for best possible game experience.
-Fixes and additions: A general overhaul of the game fixing reported issues and bugs as well as adding some minor new additions to the game.

Is anyone able to play this game demo with 8800gtx? I can't run the 1.1 version because it aborts with "penumbra.exe has encountered an error..."

I went to their forum and nobody there seems to be using 8800gtx.

Hmm i was interested to see how the game runs under a 8800 ... maybe an update or newer patch is needed.
atleast you reported the issue , right ? hope they work on fixing it.

I'm pretty sure I've played this since I got my 8800 and it didn't run much better than it used to. I could be wrong though. Or maybe I was playing it at 2048x1536 with 16xAA. I can't remember. :p

Installing the latest Forceware 97.92 fixed the problem. Sorry, should've checked the drivers first...
