I got a message in the end said: buffer underrun was avoided 2 times and then burn completed succefully, do I have to worry about this buffer underrun message ?

I tried 5 different CD with Nero 6 and Nero 7 and same message accurs.

Did the discs come out "ok"? If so then I wouldn't worry about anything... If not then try to run nero while there are no operations going on in the background.

Yeah, as long as the discs work, don't worry about it. Recently, I burned a CD (which takes less than 3 minutes) and I had something like 117 buffer under-run errors in that time. Disc works fine. :)

disks work ok but I never reveive this error message while burning CDs with my old CD/RW, but I got this underrun message with the new CD/RW, could it be the CD/RW unit defective ?

* it is better to use Nvidia IDE drivers or using the standard microsoft IDE drivers ?
