This has been going on for a long time now, my screen glitches when i start my computer... i mean it will freeze for a little bit some times.. flickers, it will leave pictures of windows and its contents in other spots until you move your mose or another window over that spot to get it to redraw right... And then sometimes the screen will flicker and go completely black making me have to force restart...
I know computer programming but I know jacksquat about how to fix a bunch of stuff on the comp although I am learning... Can anyone help me out? I was thinking I either need to download the latest driver or get a new graphics card... I run the NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440.. I know its ancient but it served me well and never forced me to have to get a new one till it looks like now... What do you all suggest I do? If i need to update I where can I find the latest driver for it? I have been looking but Idk what the latest build is.... Thanks for any input.
