Last time I had the game installed there weren't many servers around... is this still the case or has the game gotten more support lately?

So hows it sound?

I wish I wasn't at work because I would definitely tell you. If I wasn't to busy listen to the beautiful sound of the flak cannon. :D

Well I just played a few rounds and must say that it's quite a dramatic difference - sounds great. I did notice one possible bug - the turrent in doesn't make any sound at all for me now. I was only in one for a few seconds so maybe it was just a fluke. Gonna get back to it - must frag more noobs.

O fetch that was awesome!!! Almost all the weapons have new sounds. I would certainly say this patch breathes new life into an already great game. I knew there was a reason to own an X-Fi. It may just be me, but everything seemed smoother as well. Maybe that is the X-RAM kicking in! I must say I am very happy and very impressed. I did not expect this much change. I really love the flak cannon new sounds. And wow how about the link gun that is something new. The announcer yelling "RAMPAGE" never sounded better!!! Well back to fragging. :D

Yea that was pretty cool :D Nearly everything changed. The music is dynamic as well so if you get some kills you will hear a slight change in music.

Overall, its more different sounding than better sounding, but still very cool :)

Yeah it sounds a lot different now. At first I didnt really like it much but when I switched back to the other ones, holy crap are they a lot better QUALITY.

They are much clearer than the originals.

This is a great update :)

Any X-Ram improvement noticed? Sounds great though! I've always been dissapoint by UT's limp sounds. After being spoiled by Quake 3 :D

Just played some more and am happy to say the turret sound is fine. No problems to report. I wish this had come out a long time ago!
