anyone else watching? I think its great that vince carter let Jordan play first. Whats sucks though is Jordans first 7 shots didnt go in.:( And the eastern team keeps looking where jordan is when they get the ball.

vince carter is a moron... he should have offered BEFORE...

but to be fair he was voted in (and those fans are morons too... he played 13 games and deserves this more?)

I am really happy for allen iverson though... the little warrior should his true respect for the game by offering FIRST and via a personal phone call... it is a bit sad he has not received the media attention tracy mc grady has for doing the same thing though on a more public forum..

vince carter? I dunno if his giving up his spot was such a great gesture by HIm... more a peer pressure thing than anything else... the fans @ the forum let him know what they thought of him when he walked out... did you hear those boos?

jordan will likely win the mvp... the nba has a feeling that jordan is the greatest thing ever and deserves the mvp regardless if someone else does better...

Vince Carter isnt that great anymore even before the injuries. I've always thought that McGrady was better than Vince while he was still with the raptors. Im glad that he left the team and show the world what he got and not hide behind Vince Carter.
The last time i watched a raptors game (In ACC) they kept passing the ball to Vince who couldnt make any of the shots.

vince is still a better player than many others out there... remember he had the option to leave the team and stayed in toronto...

but thats not the reason I said he should have given up the spot... I don't think he deserved to start in the first place... like I didn't think yao ming should have started ahead of shaq... or that jason kidd would start as a reserve... some things are just wrong... but its the fans selection so you can't blame carter for his selection...

however the whole deal with carter NOT stepping aside earlier... thats what I think is wrong...

JO ruined MJs last All Star game. that should have been a victory for the East. that was one of the saddest fouls i've ever seen.

ah well. it was a great All Star game, lots of competition, and lots of silly antics.
