Im looking to crossfire two X1800XT's.... but right now I'm running just a single card, and I have a PC Power & Cooling 510, bought about 2 years ago. It is NOT the SLI branded one they have on their site http://www.pcpowercooling.com/products/viewproduct.php?show=T51SLI
Anyways, what Power Supply recommendations for Crossfire? I do like my current PC Power & Cooling, so if that SLI version they have would be suffice, I wouldn't mind purchasing that. But, I'm always open to different brands if I knew it would give me better leverage if I upgrade again in the future.
Thanks!

Your 510w is the same as the sli version just with out the 2 6pin molex conectors. Just 4pin molex to 6pin molex convertors and you should be fine.
A list of ATI CrossFire Certified Power supplies for the X1800 can be found here -

That would be pretty cool if I could get away with my current PS and running both cards. Save me a little $$$. I thought maybe the SLI branded version had different rails or something, and would distribute power better. Thanks for you insight on this, cause I might attempt this first before shelling out $$$ for a new PS. :)

NP, im useing the same PSU as you with sli 7800gtx's no problem. Wirieng is a mess but heh.
BTW, I was told that if you call PC Power & Cooling they *may* let you send in your PSU and reloom it as a sli model. However, i emailed a few times to no responce, never tied to call because my rig works fine and i dont want it to have the down time. If you dont mind waiting a few weeks try calling and asking hehe.
