Ive been having some weird windows issues lately, with xp not booting up saying windows can't start 0x0000007e error.

So i did some stuff and disabled the xfi and that was the problem. I don't know why the xfi would do that but the point is im pulling it for testing. I decided to enable the nforce audio in bios and use that. Know when i enabled it and installed the drivers, i went through the speaker wizard fine but i don't get windows beeps only music from the media players. Now thats very oddd no windows bootup sounds or any just music from my playlists.

I don't think i done anything wrong here just installed the drivers.

Anyone know why im not getting all the sounds?

I got it but the labeled jacks arent right. I had to use the bottom jacks for 5.1 the top is for 8 channel. now i get windows sounds but do i have to use the speaker wizard to setup sounds or just set it to 5.1?

You might not be getting the sounds if you turned the 'sound theme' off.

As to your other problem http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330182/

Use the speakers setup wizard. This way you'll ensuure that speakers will 100% work. I know it always had problems with rear speakers for me (ALC655 chip on NF2).
