it will be nice to see those shaders :)
I finished 2nd in one of them :)
My shadow volume shader at about 10fps compared to 30seconds per frame!!

kewl ...
it is dificult Cg shaders programing ?
I have heard that you need deep knowledge of C++
and DIrectX9 or opengl ...
i think many games will ship in 2003 with Cg support..
time will tell.. :)
I think some people are underestimating this card.
It can do 16X FSAA at 3840*2400 resolution which is very extraordinary.

I am sure that the non ultra gf FX would not be able to do professional rendering like the quadro series :)
not only is the stability a lot higher, performance is also a lot higher in DCC applications. e.g. wireframe acceleration is usually 2 times faster than its gaming card equivalent or more.
Mine defaults to 300/600 for 2D and 400/800 for 3D.

No, Quadro wasn't designed to run games. It was designed for CAD, DCC, and other workstation uses.
Ohh, I fogot to mention where nVIDIA claims this.

"16X Full-Scene Antialiasing (FSAA)
16X FSAA dramatically reduces visual aliasing artifacts or “jaggies” at resolutions up to 3840x2400, resulting in highly realistic scenes."

will I be able to use those drivers on a ti4200 just for the 2d high res?

Find me a game that supports 3840x2400 and I'll try it. If it supports horizontal spanning it's even better.

at 0.00000000001 fps? still looking worse than ATis 6x or 3DLabs 16x?
what's the maximum memory configuration available for the Quadro FX 2000?
Quadro FX 2000 is an amazing product, except FSAA IQ of course
but a downclocked version (as badly downclocked as mentioned here) would remove a lot of the "impressiveness"

can your monitor support that res in 2d? you can set custom res in most games, try quake3, theres a consol command to specify x and y axis. I forgot but its possible to set any res

I know close to zero about games. Where can I download Quake3 that supports that resolution?
The Quadro FX 2000 only comes with 128M. That is sometimes not enough. For example, I can't go much beyond 640x480 when running the DX9 Real-Time High-Dynamic Range Image-Based Lighting program.
