Help with A7N8X memory slots.

I got an A7N8X Deluxe motherboard. Here is my question for you all. The manual says to use the dual channel you can put the ram in slot 1 and 3 or 2 and 3 or 1, 2 and 3. I bought 2 sticks of PC2700. Has anyone played around to see if one slot combination is any faster than another? Meaning: Is using slots 1 and 3 faster than using slots 2 and 3? I wouldnt think it would matter but you never know.

slot 1 and 3 to give optimal performance per most people/benchmarks/review websites et al... :)
