well, Lance Armstrong was never caught, but Landis, who just won the Tour de Farce on the weekend, tested positive for high levels of testosterone. however, that was only the 'A' sample, so he won't be stripped of the title until the 'B' sample is tested.

next to track and field, cycling has to be one of the most dirtiest sports in the world. that anyone would risk cheating in this event is doubly amazing, considering there was a major doping scandal before the event where, among others, favourite Ullrich was kicked out for allegedly contacting a noted Spanish blood doping doctor.

Didn't Lance share any of his secrets?

Basso and Ullrich were both kicked out, Basso was my pick to win before he was tainted.

I was shocked at Landis' win in the 2nd stage before last and his brilliant performance in the penultimate race as well but he had a good tour so I presumed it was ok.

Guess I was wrong :(

Good race Landis, but bad form.

Landis, the dope, still continues to deny doping, even though the 'B' sample tested positive for high levels of testosterone. he claimed that he had naturally high levels of testosterone--opps, the stuff they found in his system was synthetic. must of been that granola bar he ate.

Will this guy ever be officially stripped of the title and banned?

Or do we have to watch him go through one ludicrous appeal after another?

I think he feels that he has to keep on fighting till the bitter-end otherwise people might think he is admitting his quilt.

He testosterone that was not naturally produced in his system.

How much more guilty do you need to be?
