For those of you that were heavy into PC gaming in the 90's you will probably remember the classic from LucasArts: Sam & Max Hit the Road.:rofl Ahhh yes those were the days.:D That was back around the time I was addicted to the Wing Commander Series.(nana2) Well fetch those are good memories. Anyway one of my favorite adventure games of all time is making a return this October and I am stoked. Whats also great is the game is being developed by many of the same people that brought the classic to life in 93'!
After 13 years and 2 cancelled games later, fans of the Series have something to look foward to!:p

This has been an excellent day! First I was able to purchase the E6700 and now this lovely news.

And there will be a new episode every month for 6 months!

Best games ever. These games ARE PC gaming to me. I had Maniac Masion when if first arrived for PC and was hooked.

Nice to see you out of the CPU forum tikiman... Though your use of the word Fetch is a worry LOL ;)

Ya I better tell my fingers to stop typing that "F" word.:p

If anybody still has any of these original games you can go here to download a utility to let you play these classics in XP.:)

I beat both Day of the Tentacle and Sam & Max for like the 10th time (each) just a few months ago.

You know what. i'm going to fire up the HTPC and see if I can get these running ok on my HD TV. With a little fiddling with the res and scummvm settings I think I should be in for one hell of a treat :)

LOL Wonder how the midi music will sound on my 5500s?

Can't believe I have to work late tonight... On a Friday too :(

EDIT: Awesome Avatar Tiki

Well that certainly sounds fun! Wow those games on a big TV screen...I've never thought of doing that before. My wife had a really good chuckle when she saw Sam and Max bungee jumping out of the Presidents nostrils at Mt. Rushmore. :D

I've yet to introduce my gf to Sam and Max. She enjoyed DotT, when I get the HTPC up and running we will play through it together. I'll have to be quiet though. She will want to do all the puzzle solving.
