Which is the best torrent download app to use? I'm new to this kind of downloading. Limewire has worked for me up to now.

I like bitlord.

Azureas was good too but for some reason bitlord gives me consistantly better results and download speeds. I'm not sure why.

I have used azureus. It was good but kind of too technical for me. :p

I also tried BitComet. It’s great, reliable, and had no glitches.

But then I tried utorrent and I would seriously recommend anyone to use utorrent. Its fabulous. Simple, small, sleek and downloads very efficiently.

Btw, the latest version of getright uses torrents together with http links to download different parts of files simultaneously. But, I haven’t tried it myself yet so I can’t really say anything about it.

I use utorrent, it is the best torrent program I discovered. On last saturday I downloaded Windows Vista build 5472, it took less than 24 hours to completed downloaded on utorrent. :D

Another utorrent vote. You can't beat the feature set for a 150KB app that only eats a few megs of RAM. Azureus is nice, but since it's Java based it's a total RAM hog.

utorrent. Azuereus seems to be slow for some silly reason and it crashes quite a lot. If you expect your torrents to have finished downloading when you get back from work you get a nasty suprise.

I also use and recommend utorrent.

Why is it so difficult to preview something being downloaded with these torrents? I have the K-light 2.72 codec pack and MP10 but I still can't preview it.

You can preview it just not while its downloading. close utorrent or whatever you use then use VLC http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Also if the video file is part of many in the torrent ex: 1 show of a season you can give that particular episode higher priority so it will finish first. As soon as that episode hits 100% you can view it while the torrent is still dl'ing

well, i used azureus... but i didn't like it because the memory managment of the program was bad (and it took too much resource...)
then i moved to utorrent... (its not bad...) and then to bitcomet... and i used bitcomet for couple of month.. now i use both utorrent and bitcomet..!

Right now with utorrent I have 12 seeds going, and it uses a whopping 3.7MB of my RAM. While residing in the system tray it uses about 2.5MB.

I'm using Bitcomet myself, but since utorrent is getting lots of recommendations, I'm going to try that as well.
