Is there a site that offers a FREE password generator. Not one where you use it online, but one you can download?

Who the heck would pay for a password generator!?
My password generator of choice: pwgen (http://sourceforge.net/projects/pwgen/)

Password Generator is free, not sure what you're talking about. pwgen is fine but not everyone knows what to do with the source files or even how to compile.

It was freeware, it just takes you to the website that bought the company, Passgen is now a part of SecureSafe Pro, you can (and I did) Download it for free, unlimited uses! :D

* Generating passwords 1-32 symbols in length.
* Ability to exclude dubious symbols (!, 1, I, l, O, 0, o, ^, comma, dot).
* Including special symbols (~, !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *, (, ), comma, dot, =, +, <, >) into the password.
* Composing password using only symbols you listed in the 'other symbols' field.
* Conditioning the password pronouncing by adding vowels using special algorithm.
* Ability to test passwords.
* Ability to save to the text file or to copy to the clipboard one password or a password list.
* Easy to use.
* Small size.
* Win XP look.
* Freeware. <-----
as for pwgen, I dont have Linux (yet) but I cant compile source code either, so...pwgen sucks for newbies :P

I'm talking about the empasis for "FREE" in the first post of this thread.

That's why we have binary distributions. ;-)
Gotcha. I didn't see any binary distros on that sf page.
