I was looking on xpcgear.com (http://www.xpcgear.com/casemodding.html) and saw that they have 'Cold Cathode CCFL Lighting" and was wondering if that helped cool your system at all or if it was just how the light was made.

Its just how the light is made.

Should not affect your system temps at all.

Bummer. I thought it somehow cooled down your system..that would be badass.

Well on the plus side. they wont warm your system up either.

Its just the type of light, it does not generate much heat.

Ya really, imagine some sort of dry ice cathode. I would place a wall of them on my side panel. :D

Mine generates a little bit of heat, but that may be because it's on all the time :P
