VR-Zone's SHAMINO has Run Benchies on the Nvidia Reference NForce5 590 SLI Intel Edition for the X6800 Core 2 Duo/Conroe with his HOME BREWED Triple Cascade at -90Celcius and the Scores look Great. But the FSB's are still a little low. Here is the link:

FSB is way too low, but Shamino now holds the world record for 3D06 at a whopping 16058, insane! Is -90C really necessary for hitting 4.5?

I don't think -90c is necessary for 4.5GHz, his FSB is definetely holding him back though, I think the EE gets a max multi of 14x

Yeah but he's also only using 5400 DDR2.

Looks like the Intel chipset boards are the way to go if you want some serious overclocking. Shame they havent allowed nvidia to run sli.

Yea the 975x is doing over 400MHz FSB with the same CPU, seems very weird that the NForce 590 seems to cap out at around 330MHz FSB.

I think Asus and especially DFI will be able to push this further.

All in all, this low FSB is a real shame for the lower end CPU's, even the 6700, as its multplier is locked we will be limited by that 330MHz FSB barrier :( When I get my 6700, that limits me to 3.3GHz. :( I still have high hopes for DFI :)

The nforce boards never came today did they?

I need at least a 335 FSB with a multi of 9 :( Come on DFI tweak that board (nana2)

lol. his cpu score is > my sm 3 and sm2 tests :/

My god...that gtx o/c is....my god..that gtx o/c is...my GOD!!!

I want at least 4.2GHz, I hope these NF5 boards are much more flexable.

Nice! Yes, I got 3100 max on my 6800GT, so his processor marks are sweet. It's over double my 3800+ X2 at 2.5GHZ.

So I guess this means he sees the CPU tests at a fluid 4 fps. :D

Well, according to the Hexus.net review of the Reference 590 IE, the FSB will be from 100MHz-500MHz as seen here:

Feature Adjustments possible
FSB Clock 100 - 500MHz (1MHz increments)
CPU FID 6x - 60x. FID (x1 increments)
PCI-E (x16 slot 1) Clock 100-148.4375MHz (1.5625MHz increments)
PCI-E (x16 slot 2) Clock 100-130MHz (1MHz increments)
Memory 400-1400MHz, with speed determining number of options*
CPU Core voltage 0.50000-1.80000V
0.50000-1.6V in 0.00625V increments
1.60000-1.8V in 0.01250V increments
CPU VTT voltage 1.30-1.50V in 0.1V increments
Memory VDIMM 1.875V - 2.50V in 0.025V increments

HyperTransport Voltage 1.30V - 1.60V in 0.05V increments
NB Voltage 1.40V - 1.55V in 0.025V increments
SB Voltage 1.525V - 1.75V in 0.025V increments

Here is the rest of the 590 Reference review: http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=6326

Remember the review is for Reference 590 only, I am sure that final designs and spec's for DFI's LAN Party and the ASUS Republic of Gamers versions will have a lot better FSB and fine tuning. ;)

all i can say is: DFI FTW
