Guys,
What are you all using for telling what temps your 7950GX2's are?

THanks

awesome.
is 45 C / 40 C for 600/800 OC fine?

One would think so.

You can also use Rivatuner, unless it doesn't support these cards yet.

i think rivatuner shows the samething that the nvidia driver picks up..the average..atleast thats what i had.

I believe Rivatuner can chart the tempertature in the background while you're playing a game, but I haven't really had a chance to tinker with it.

nvidia new cp one can do it as well...but just like riva..only 1 gpu temp..average of the 2 -.-

Anything under 60C is good.

600/780 OC, 90ºC reported by ATITOOL while scaning for artifacts,
Is it ok?

90c seems a bit high. I was hitting 82c under load so I installed a few fans on the side to blow air onto the card. Now my load temp never goes above 72c.(at 550/700)

Hardcop had there review cards reach 100c..mostly inbetween sandwiched card..just get a good airflow..drop a fan in the middle gap and it helps a **** load.. i now got 2 fans one on top fo the card and one on the side..total drop 15-20C underload...that is a big big drop and its load max arround 75ish~ on FEAR..about 65ish..maybe less on CS:S..about 40-45ish on idle. default clocks..

Everest tracks both GPU temps and will save the info to a log file in the background. One thing that I noticed is how important the overall case circulation pattern is, in keeping the 7950 cool, rather than the overall volume of air moved around. My case has a 120mm in the front, 2 60mm fans in the back (side by side and below the PSU and its fan) and an 80mm fan on the top. The PSU fan speed is adjustable. Just by turning the PSU fan from max to min, I decreased the 7950's interior GPU temperature by 10 deg C at idle and 3 deg at 100% GPU load. This is because more air was going out the top of the case (right above the 7950) and less out the back. I could actually feel the temperature (and air movement) difference when I put my hand over the top 80 mm fan.

Other people have suggested mounting a 120 mm fan on the bottom of your case and aiming at the 7950. I gerryrigged a setup, but it really made no difference. Of course, your results will vary based on your case configuration.

Yeah i know , but i try to make it simple by just getting the avarage of those 2GPU's temp. i have QuadSLI system so 2 GPU temps should give me enough idea about the overall temp of the 4 GPUs :D

since i added an extra 250mm fan to my side panel of the Kandalf case , my GPU temps are now in the high 70s or low 80s. not bad i guess.
