Multi-processor support - Windows XP Pro supports up to two microprocessors, while Home Edition supports only one.
Eh???
Article seems a little dated

Ya, I have read that article somwhere else and a while back it seems.
If you´re refering to dual core, Home supports both cores, but not 2 physical CPUs as I understand it, IE 2 cpus on one mobo.
While Pro does, so pro could run 2x DC cpus for 4 CPUs.

Yep.
Realistically the only advantages I see to Pro are that, logging into domains and file permissions.
If you don't need any of that stuff you don't Pro and if you're buying windows Home is signifcantly cheaper.
I've understood that the main difference is that Pro has more security features than Home, such as Incrypting files and Network Security features, in a broad sense.
