Well I just tried BF2 and it seems a bit "smoother"...fps went up a few frames Im sure......

playing 2048 res with 2 X AA forced in game..8 X AF all options in game in game on HIGH and it rarely dips below 90 fps even in heavy arty!!!!

CS:S HL2 Lost..FEAR..feel similar..not sure if the nvidia cp always had 16xs aa though..

08-09-06, 08:20 AM
Ahhhh nice sooo far... I haven't really had a chance to tweak any. F.E.A.R had about a 10 frame jump for me and is running the best so far from any other 91's. Prey, GRAW, UT2K4 splended so far I like the drivers. Going to run some HL2 now.

Gamma in Video/TV thing is btw set to low by default..if u go in there and hit restore default again it will set it to normal colour..not sure why it did that..strange :/..

In the "open issues" section of the release notes...what is all this about the color space range for DVI outputs? Is color space range some option in the control panel that you can normally set or something?

Is this showing up on the main nvidia page yet or do you have to hit the FTP server to grab it direct?

Reason I ask is that the bluecoat screws with NVidia's download page here from work and keeps showing the 80 series driver for me.

08-09-06, 10:09 AM
Nothing on the main page yet except 91.31

I think I'll wait until it's posted officially then. How do we know it's not a beta?

Is there a new version of their Linux driver out? Buddy here @ work is asking for it.

BTW thankyou for the linky! Oh and is there a new ntune out? One that supports the A8N32?

Thanks dudes.

Won't install for me :( Says I do not have a supported video card- guess it's cause I don't have a 7950 :thumbdwn:

08-09-06, 11:20 AM

This is an official release and it supports ONE video card??

08-09-06, 11:25 AM
If you look at the download drivers page, there's an option for QuadSLi there, instead of GeForce/TNT2.

08-09-06, 11:50 AM
Ah according to the nvnews frontpage these are indeed beta drivers.

I'll pass.
