Hi guys
Those playing COD2 with a 7950GX2, should I enable "Optimize for SLI" in the graphics settings ??

What prompted this question is my thinking that a 7950GX2 is a multi-GPU but not the traditional SLI card set-up. Am I off in my thinking ??

cheers

Im pretty sure that you are correct that the card isnt SLi, but shouldnt hurt to enable it to see if it give you any performance boost ingame :)

I'm not sure about CoD2 but I get a boost from running the various SLI modes over single card mode, so yes, it is SLI.

Give it a try. :)

CaptnKill What kind of FPS do you get on the max settings dx9 with the 7950GX2.

Tried enabling SLI in the Graphics section under Options, but when I quit the game and re-enter the setting hasn't stuck.
I note there is no Save option when changing settings either.
Using 91.33 nVidia drivers and v1.2 of the game

Looks like the 7950GX2 is not SLI as far as COD2 is concerned

Well, he has the same CRT as I used to and it goes up to a pretty high res, I think 1792x1344. Depends on what res you're running. ;)
