So in short creative is saying that issues are nvidia issues and they need to fix it
(witch isn't true because my old comp with intel x955 chipset suffered same thing so bull****!!!!!)

I hope that i see that beatiful day when creative is out of business and some decent companys are in place and make some nice soundcards.

and sorry if this is old news

Cool, well at least I know the 590 board should work without issues.

k... bye...

anyways, did they test other cards with the same request specs? they said that other cards did not experience these problems, so that would leave me to believe there is something wrong with the way the x-fi card requests the data as opposed to the nf4 chipset receiving and answering the request....

that sounds logical right?

I can't really blame him .. computer hardware is a lota mess with lots of compatability issues. it needs much time & effort to keep up with ...

So does any addiction, but you do it for the love of the high it gives. As frustrating as computer hardware can be, I love it, and I especially love overcoming hardware/software obstacles and sticking it in the face of crappy drivers or whatever.

hey jakup stop dreaming I've seen posts in the asus forums about people having the issue with nforce 590 based systems. for those with an AMD system you might want to try the fix I posted that i got from the asus MB forum http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=73899&page=2

well then go and have fun on your 360 until it starts overheating and then you have to worry about returning that too... you know what, try ditching the whole electricity/electronics all together, and then you won't have to worry about any of this

What funny is I built him that system and it was the xfi that cause all his problems it was cause voltage spikes and burning out his video cards RMA them and pull that sound card and RMA that to and creative did find it to be a bad card, his system run good now.

The sad thing about this whole thing is that when the X-Fi was released, NForce4 mobos were out, and very popular.

So whos fault is it? Creatives for not properly testing their products on a wide range of motherboards? Or Nvidias? The blame falls on creative. It is their job to test and make sure that their product works on the motherboards that are out.

I piont blame directly at creative i had some problem with X-Fi on my intel rig to not just on the nforce 4 board and my intel rig use a 975x chipset it not nivida problem they are just posting fixs around creative problem Creative sure hav never release this beta stage card, we sure not have to pay to beta test the products and no drivers updates for 6 months on buggy card WTF.
This is how bad the problem is read Links.
